Introducing the sleek KitchenAid 11lb Glass surface kitchen scale, featuring an attractive stainless steel accent trim and an oversized knob for setting units of measurement. This scale is designed to complement a wide range of kitchen decors. The glass surface is naturally stain and odor-free, as well as tempered for safety. The large 1.0" backlit readout makes it easy to read measurements. The add and weigh Tare function allows for zeroing out the weights of containers before adding food or weighing multiple ingredients together. It conveniently converts both dry and liquid measurements.

With a maximum capacity for dry ingredients of 11 LB x 0.1 Oz and 5000 grams x 1 gram, and for liquid ingredients of 5000 milliliters x 1 milliliter and 176 FL Oz x 0.1 FL Oz, this scale has the versatility to accommodate a wide range of measuring needs.

A unique feature of this scale is its rotating knob design, inspired by KitchenAid countertop electric ovens. Simply twist the knob to set the units of measurement, and push to Tare or power on/off.

The Tare feature allows for weighing all ingredients into one container by zeroing out weights in-between additions. It can also be used to zero the weight of any container before adding food.

This scale is powered by three (3) AAA batteries, which are included. It can be powered off manually or will auto shut-off after 3 minutes of no change in weight on the platform.

For easy maintenance, the scale is designed for hand-washing only. It should not be immersed in water or put in the dishwasher. For best results, wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
